A new entity within the City of Edmonton, the Council Initiative for Public Engagement, needed to develop a public engagement strategy and guide for the City of Edmonton. The work included a series of working groups and meetings with the public and city officials to hear their thoughts and get their feedback on engagement.
The City wanted to capture the engagement process for a range of different audiences.
Focus Communications told the story in video. We developed storyboards for each message and audience. We wrote a script that showed the engagement process and techniques. We illustrated how the process varied with different groups. We conducted interviews and shot video to convey what engagement mean for different audiences.
