DEAN HEUMAN, PRINCIPAL

Principal and co-owner of Focus Communications, Dean has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications, internal communications and event management. His primary area of work is in strategic marketing methodologies, analysis of current trends, message development and recommendations for effective delivery systems. Dean currently volunteers as part of the Edmonton Humane Society Board of Directors and is the Media/Sponsorship Chair for Quikcard Edmonton Minor Hockey Week.

SUE HEUMAN, ABC; PRINCIPAL

An accredited communications professional with nearly 30 years' experience, Sue is highly skilled in all aspects of strategic planning, engagement and execution. She has been a senior advisor to top management since 1997. Sue is a graduate of Grant MacEwan University's Advertising and Public Relations Program and a former member of the Advisory Council for the University's Public Relations Program. Sue is currently a member of the University of Alberta School of Retailing Women in Retail Advisory Committee, and is a principal and co-owner of Focus Communications.

KRISTA RIVET, SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIST

Krista has nearly 20 years of experience in communications, public relations and public affairs. A graduate of Grant MacEwan University's Journalism program, Krista has experience in various levels of government, the private and public sectors. With proven communications, public relations and marketing expertise, Krista combines the right blend of services to provide quality solutions to our clients.

RENÉE HACKNEY, COMMUNICATIONS ADVISOR

Renée is a graduate of the Grant MacEwan University Public Relations program. Renée has experience with community relations and investment, desktop publishing and event planning. She previously worked for the Government of Alberta and Weyerhaeuser Company Limited. Renée is highly organized and detail-oriented, and offers enthusiasm and energy to each project on which she works.
